# Maximum Part Size The largest parts we cut, bend, weld, coat, and ship, and how to get a part that is too big to ship. These are the size and weight limits our quoting tool checks when you upload a part. A part past a cutting or bending limit shows an error on the quote. A part we can make but can't ship is quoted for local pickup. ## Laser Cutting: Sheet - **Largest flat part:** **117" x 47"**. Our TRUMPF TruLaser beds are 3000 x 1500 mm, and we stock 48" x 120" sheet. - **Smallest part:** 0.25" x 0.25". The limit applies to the flat part. A bent part is checked by its flat pattern. See the [sheet laser cutting guidelines](/resources/guidelines/laser-cutting/sheet). ## Laser Cutting: Tube - **Longest part:** **176"**. - **Tube size:** 0.472" to 6.72" outside diameter, up to 13.4 lbs/ft of stock. See the [tube laser cutting guidelines](/resources/guidelines/laser-cutting/tube). ## Bending - **Longest bend line:** set by the material and thickness, up to the 117" flat limit. Thin stock bends up to 117" long; thicker stock is limited by press force and tooling. The [material table](/resources/guidelines/bending#material-table) lists the maximum bend length for each material and thickness. - **Heaviest bent part:** **80 lbs**. Long bends run on our TRUMPF TruBend 5130, which has a 3230 mm (127") bed. Our TruBend 7050 has a 1530 mm (60") bed and takes shorter bends. See the [bending guidelines](/resources/guidelines/bending). ## Welding Welded parts are bent parts first, so the bending limits apply, up to 0.250" thick. A welded part bigger than our shipping limit is quoted for local pickup. See the [welding guidelines](/resources/guidelines/welding). ## Hardware, Tapping, and Countersinking Parts over **80 lbs** can't have hardware inserted, holes tapped, or holes countersunk. See the [hardware guidelines](/resources/guidelines/hardware). ## Deburring Parts over **100 lbs** can't be deburred. Choose No Deburring for them. ## Powder Coating The quoting tool has no size limit for powder coating beyond the cutting limits above. See the [powder coating guidelines](/resources/guidelines/powder-coating). ## Shipping - **Sheet, bent, and welded parts:** ship up to **95" x 47" x 47"**. - **Tubes:** ship up to **97"** long. We compare each side of the part, longest first, with those limits. A part also has to fit one of our boxes or pallets. ## Too Big to Ship A part we can make but can't ship can still be quoted and ordered with local pickup.
